Space available in new CEC Driver's Education course

An after-school Driver’s Education course offered at the Central Educational Center still has openings available through Tuesday, January 16.

The class will be offered Monday-Thursday, 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at CEC, which is located at 160 Martin Luther King. The class is a regular Coweta County “fifth block” high school course, and costs $200 to register. It meets all requirements of Joshua’s Law, including 40 hours of supervised driving experience and six hours of night driving, and counts as regular high school credit.

The course is taught by Coweta county high school diver’s education instructors Steve Crenshaw and Trace Overton.

Classes begin on January 16, and students can register through the end of the day Tuesday at CEC. Those interested can call Tina Beland at 678-423-2000 or Barbara Louis at 770-254-2810.
