Atkinson Performance Calendar

2007-2008

*August 7th-First Chorus Rehearsal
Chorus students meet every Tuesday from 2:30pm-5:00pm. Don't forget to bring your snack.

*August 17th-Chorus Lock-in

*September 3rd-Powers Crossroads Festival
Chorus students meet at the front gate at 9:00am. The performance will be at 10:00am.
Students should wear the new blue chorus T shirt with solid khaki, white, or
                                blue jean shorts, tennis shoes and white socks.                                                                         

September 14th-"Star Spangled Banner" Birthday Celebration

*September 20th-Chorus Bake Sale

September 27th-Kindergarten/1st Grade Performance/Parent Workshop Night---7:00pm
Students should wear a red, white, or blue shirt with blue jeans.

*October 18th-Chorus Bake Sale

*October 18th-Atkinson Chorus with Newnan High School Chorus-----7:00pm
The performance will be at the Newnan High School Auditorium
.  Chorus students report at 6:30pm.

*November 10th-Atkinson Chorus-9th Annual Coweta Christmas
Sponsored by Alpha Delta Kappa, a National Organization for Women Educators 
Chorus students meet at the Coweta County Fairgrounds at 10:15am.
The performance will be at 10:45am. Wear the formal uniform.

November 28th-2nd & 3rd Grade Rehearsal for Christmas Program
Centre for the Performing and Visual Arts-8:30am-12:00a
 

*December-Atkinson Chorus-Festival of Trees-Georgia World Congress Center/Atlanta     
This event has been canceled.

December 6th-Atkinson Christmas Program-7:00pm
Atkinson Chorus, 4th & 5th Grade Recorders, and the 2nd & 3rd Grade
Centre for the Performing and Visual Arts-Students meet at 6:30pm 
Chorus wears the formal uniform, 4th & 5th Grade wear white shirt with black or navy pants,
and 2nd & 3rd grade wear costume assigned by Mrs. Moseley.

           *February 14 & 15-Madrigal Dinner with Newnan High School Chorus        Centre for the Performing and Visual Arts 
Chorus wear white chorus shirt, navy or black pants, dark socks & shoes.
Report to assigned area by 6:00pm.

April 29th-Atkinson Fine Arts Night
Centre for the Performing and Visual Arts-5:30-8:00pm  Student artwork will be displayed in the lobby
            Every grade level will perform, and the Atkinson Chorus will perform.
Students should wear the Atkinson T shirt and blue jeans. Chorus students should wear the Chorus shirt and blue jeans.       .
