Meet Mrs. Bidne

My name is Donna Bidne.  I have been teaching for 9 years, this being my third year at Arbor Springs.  This year I am the intervention teacher.  What this means is my job is to make sure your child gets any extra help needed with a specific standard their teacher has covered.  I am looking forward to an exciting year and many gains made in our achievement at Arbor Springs.  The most rewarding thing about teaching is seeing a child get a concept they thought they never would.

A little about me outside of school...I am married to a great man who owns a local sports performance gym and works as the gym teacher at Odyssey.  I have three boys.  Cody who is in high school this year, Kyle who is in middle school, and Colt who attends Arbor Springs.  We stay very active with sports, mainly football.  I am a huge fan of college football, Auburn and Tennessee being my favorite.  I have a kooky dog named Tater and a feisty cat named Kitty.  I have only lived in Newnan for the past 3 years, coming from Tennessee, but I have chosen Coweta County as my home.  I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, shopping (even if it is window shopping), and decorating my home (a huge downfall of mine).  I am anxious to work with you and your children this year.  If there are ever any questions that need to be answered, please feel free to email me and I will respond as soon as possible.
