Just a little note...

I wanted to let you know that my last day to teach for this academic year will be Wednesday, May 5th.  I will be out on leave for the rest of the school year on medical leave.  Your child will still receive intervention services in math each day.  My long-term sub will be Mrs. Lanier.  She is an excellent teacher and your child has probably already gotten to know her because she has been a substitute teacher in several classes this year.  Throughout the rest of May Focus, your child will go to reading in Mrs. Davis' classroom and Mrs. Lanier will be teaching with her.  Your child will benefit even more by having a second teacher in the classroom to work on reading skills.  I am confident that your child will continue to learn and grow during this academic year.  Please feel free to contact Mrs. Lanier or Mrs. Davis if you have any questions.  I will also be available by email while I am away.

I have enjoyed teaching each and every one of your children and we have all celebrated in their successes!  Your children have worked very hard this year and you should be proud!  I will return to school in August and look forward to seeing each one of their bright and smiley faces!
