Who is Ms. Fairchild?

Hi! My name is Cara Fairchild and I am excited about starting my second year of teaching in Coweta County! This year I have the opportunity to work with students at Northside Elementary and Arbor Springs Elementary in the Early Intervention Program.

I am originally from Tennessee and I have lived in Newnan for almost 5 years. I am the mother of two boys...Colin (Scooter) and Cameron. Colin attends school at Arbor Springs and Cameron is a sophomore at Northgate High School. We have two additional members in our family...Milo and Milee. They are Ragdoll Cats and my former students will tell you that there is always a funny story about the two of them. They are quite a mess; but we love them just the same.

When I am not at school, you can usually find me at the baseball field with my boys. Cameron plays for two different teams, Northgate High School and on a competitive travel team. Cameron plays behind the plate (he's a catcher). Scooter plays on a travel team as well and he is still trying to discover what position he likes the best.

I love college football and the University of Miami Hurricanes. My boys are avid Canes fans as well.

It's all about the U!!!

My other favorite sport is hockey. My favorite team is the Nashville Predators (GO PREDS!!!)! My favorite player is Jordin TooToo. Yes...he wears the number 22. We often travel to Nashville to watch hockey games and visit family on the weekends during hockey season. It's important to remember to "Get Out and Learn". Make the most of your time at school, learn all that you can, and help your friends do the same.
