Dear Parents/Guardians,
Wow! We have had a GREAT first week. The children are doing a wonderful job learning our daily routine. They are learning so much and getting along well. We have been doing color activities this week. The children have cut, glued, made a bracelet, worked together to put a puzzle together and drew a self-portrait. They have listened to many books including Brown Bear Brown Bear. We will be making our own Brown Bear Book next week. The children have learned some new songs, ask them to sing them for you. Please fill out the All About Me sheet and return with your child. This is our Family Project for next week. Also, please send in a framed picture of your family for us to display around the classroom.
We would like to thank everyone for the generous supplies full of snacks and other great stuff. We appreciate everything that you do for us. Please send in your childs' handbook page and the internet form. Also, our room gets chilly, please feel free to send a sweater with your child.
Just a few things to go over:
*Mrs. Renee and I do not arrive until 7:30, please send your child to the cafeteria if you drop him/her off before then.
*Please have your girls wear shorts under their skirts/dresses.
*We will begin ice cream next week. Remember if you choose for your child to eat ice cream, this will be his/her snack for the day. The cost for ice cream is .50 cents
*Sally Foster has begun!
*Skate night is Tuesday, August 15th
J Check your child’s book bag every day.
J All money needs to be labeled in an envelope with your child’s name, teacher and what the money is for, or it won’t be accepted.
J Please send a note with any transportation changes.
J Do not forget to send an excuse or doctor’s note when your child is absent.
J Please remember to send in a change of clothes for your child.
