Meet Mrs. Tarleton & Mrs. Archer |
|
Students, Students and Families, My name is Page Tarleton. This is my 14th year teaching. My first three years of teaching, I taught kindergarten and 1st grade French at Newnan Crossing and Western Elementary. I have been teaching kindergarten for 11 years. KINDERGARTEN IS THE BEST. I received my undergraduate degree from Mercer University. After that I obtained a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from the State University of West Georgia. Next I was awarded an Educational Specialist Degree in Instructional Technology from Valdosta State University. Currently I am writing my dissertation for my Educational Doctorate in Instructional Leadership. I hope to graduate in December, 2009. I have been married for 8 years . My husband is also a teacher. He teaches at Newnan High School. I have a 6-year-old, little guy, Jake. He is so much fun. He is in 1st Grade this year. I love to teach, read, run, travel and especially spend time with my family and friends. Teaching kindergarten is not like a job to me. It is my life where I strive every day to inspire a life-long-love of learning in all of my kindergarten babies.
Mrs. Archer has been at Arbor Springs since it opened. She has been a paraprofessional in pre-k and kindergarten. Mrs. Archer has been married for 29 years and has two grown children. Her daughter lives in Cincinnati and her son lives in Newnan. Mrs. Archer loves to read, do a variety of crafts and spend time working with children. Parents, Thank you so much for entrusting your children to me this year. I know that together we will make a great team!! I am looking forward to a great year.
