Spanish 3 focuses on the continued development of communicative competence in the target language and understanding of the culture(s) of the people who speak the language.

Course Objective:

Students will continue to develop the skills acquired in the first two years of Spanish.  They will continue to improve the four fundamental skills of language proficiency: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.  Cultural awareness will be incorporated in the units.  Culture plays an important role in language learning.  Students will continue to strive for communicative proficiency through a combination of grammar structures, conversation, reading, and writing activities.  Students will be expected to use the target language.
