PARENT AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Business-Education-Community-Partners (B.E.C.P.) - Business/Community partnerships established to provide a variety of benefits to all stakeholders. The type of partnership is limited only by the imaginations of the participants. They may serve as advisors, judges, mentors, speakers, assist with projects, make presentations, donate services or products, provide internships, permit students to job shadow, etc.

Parent Volunteers - Volunteers are available to assume a variety of responsibilities and roles at ECHS. If you are interested in having a volunteer work with you, please contact the administrative office. A list of volunteers and numbers will be compiled shortly after the beginning of schools. There are several categories of volunteers:

Organization Volunteers support or sponsor our school's programs and/or activities and usually represent school, community, or business organizations.

• Music booster clubs
• Athletic booster clubs
• School advisory groups
• Civic groups
• Business and industry (internships/job shadowing/job fairs)
• Business and industry donations
• Financial resources
• Services
• Speakers/Presenters

Instructional Volunteers provide direct services to students and staff in support of the instructional programs and activities of the school

• Mentor program
• One-on-one/small group tutoring
• Classroom clerical
• Media assistant
• Activity supervision

Resource volunteers provide curriculum enrichment for students by sharing experiences or expertise in specialized areas of skill and/or knowledge

• Class programs
• Field trip chaperones
• Grade or school-wide Assemblies
• Financial support

School Building Leadership Team - The SBLT is composed of parents, teachers, students, and administrators.
