There are several ways for certified employees to satisfy the Georgia Special Technology requirement. The PSC has recently approved a true test-out option. Certified employees may take the Assess Online test to satisfy the Georgia Special Technology requirement. Participants must score an overall average of 175. Employees may take the test as many times as necessary.

At this time Coweta County School System is only providing the test for county employees.

Another way to meet the Georgia Special Technology requirement is by taking a PSC approved technology course either through a college, university, or a regional educational service agency.
